Cotton Dress:-

Do’s


  • - Cotton dress should be washed at 40c or below, whether using a washing machine or washing by hand. Always turn the clothes inside out while washing, and always wash dark color clothes separately to prevent bleeding onto lighter clothes. Gives garment a gentle stretch when they come out of the wash to get them back into shape.


  •  - Tumble dry on a low setting and do not leave your cotton items there until they are completely dry; instead, take them out while still a little damp and allow the moisture to evaporate gradually.

  •  -  Cotton dress, while they're damp, hang them up, and let them finish air-drying on a clothes-drying rack in the shade.

  • Iron at medium temperature It should be ironed at a medium temperature, preferably on a cotton setting. First, iron the inside of the fabric, followed by the outside to eliminate creases.

Don’ts


  • Do not dry clean - Cotton dress should not be dry cleaned as it can cause irreparable damage to clothes like it dulls the colour of the fabric.

 

  • Do not bleach - It should not be bleached.

 

Frill Dress:-

 Do’s

 

  • Hand wash- Frill dress should be hand washed in cold water using a mild detergent, giving the garment a clean and inviting look when they come out of the wash.

 

  • Dry clean - It should be dry clean so that beaded or sequined garments can retain their glorious look.

 

  • Dry flat - The frill dress should be dry flat and out of the sun but not for a more extended period as it can lose the vibrancy of the coloured clothing.

 

  • Iron at low temperature - Frill dress should be ironed at a low temperature and turn the garment inside out. Place a cotton cloth between the fabric and iron to prevent any burns, and if you are using a fabric steamer,  it should be away 6-8 inches from the dress. Avoid any embellishments as iron could cause them to melt and damage the fabric. To add some extra fluff, just shake out the tutu dress and run fingers through the flares to ensure maximum volume.



Don’ts

 

  • Do not bleach - Frill dress should not be bleached because the harsh chemical can weaken those delicate fibres, make the clothing lose its strength, and shorten its lifespan.

 

  • Do not tumble dry - Frill dress should not be tumble dry as it can cause irreparable damage to clothes like it dulls the colour of the fabric it distorts the shape of the garment.
